You are bidding on a very nice 1986 Chevy G20 van. This is my own personal van that I have owned for over 10 years & I am the second owner. It was purchased from a Pennsylvania motorcycle mechanic enthusiast who only used it to haul his bike to shows and it was garage kept for its first 22 years - 1986 - 2008. The van was always maintained by the first owner and myself making sure it always had oil changes every 3000 miles and keeping up on whatever it needed. The original owner was an experienced vanner and ordered this van with lots of rare options. It has a 5.0 V8 4bbl - TH350 Trans - Dash gauges - Power windows - Power locks - Tilt - Cruise - A/C - Auxiliary lighting - Tinted glass - (RARE) Nomad package pop out glass on both sides & rear doors - 33 gallon fuel tank - Heavy duty rear springs - 3.08 rear axle - Halogen stacked headlamps - Deep burgundy paint and the list goes on. When the van was new it was immediately sent out to have a complete custom interior installed including 4 swivel reclining captains chairs leaving the rear cargo area open for room to haul the motorcycle or anything else. 3 removable cargo tie down clips are mounted on the rear floor
The van has approx 90k original miles & it runs and drives excellent. It also has nice sounding dual exhaust with turbo mufflers. I just recently installed a New copper radiator, New tinted windshield & rubber gasket,New GM power window motor on right side,Full AC Delco tune up including plugs wires cap rotor fuel filter & Fresh oil change with shell rotella T
The body on the van is very straight and clean & has held up quite well during the years with the only area of rust located along the very bottom of the sliding door edge which is very common. I may option the winner an NOS or a used sliding door shell at an additional price. All other panels have nothing more then a minor pimple or 2 and the undercarriage is also pretty decent. The paint all around displays well and glossy but the roof is dull & faded. The a/c & cruise control are currently not working and I disconnected the speedometer at 74k because the cable was making noise. I have been hearing that these cool old vans from back in the day are starting to get popular again in certain crowds so someone is going to get a pretty decent van to play with. I really don't want to sell it but it doesn't get used very much anymore so its time to let someone else enjoy it. It is truly one of kind - Please send your number for immediate call back if you have any important questions
