ORIGINALLY A MONTANA TRUCK, WAS A CONVERTED 2WD TO AN UNIDENTIFIED 4X4 FRAME, WITH STRAIGHT FRONT AXLE. PURCHASED FROM A FATHER AND SON WHO HAD INTENDED TO USE IT AS A WEEKEND DRIVER, BUT SOON REALIZED THAT THE TRUCK WAS NOT FOR CITY DRIVING. I PURCHASED IT WITH THE INTENTION OF DOING ALL NECESSSARY WORK TO MAKE IT AS SUCH, BUT HAVE LOST INTEREST. THIS IS THE ULTIMATE WINTER PROJECT TRUCK!
BODY IS SOLID. NEW CAB CORNERS AND STEPS, LOWER FENDERS, AND PAINT. TRUCK WAS COMPLETELY STRIPPED AND REPAINTED ORIGINAL COLOR BREWSTER GREEN. PAINT WAS FLATTENED OUT FOR PATINA APPEARANCE, AND INTERIOR REFINISHED IN FLAT ORIGINAL BOMBAY IVORY. VERY PRESENTABLE. WINDSHIELD WAS REPLACED, ALL GLASS IS GOOD WITH EXCEPTION OF PASSENGER SIDE WING WINDOW WHICH HAS SLIGHT CRACK. ALL WINDOW GLASS FELT AND CHANNEL RUBBER NEEDS REPLACEMENT. HAS NEW DOOR RUBBER GASKETS. DRIVER DOOR BOTTOM HAS A RUST HOLE.
MECHANICALLY I HAVE INSTALLED NEW SHOCKS, FUEL PUMP, REBUILT CARBURATOR, FLUSHED FUEL TANK, REPLACED FUEL LINES, REWIRED LIGHTS, SIGNALS, AND HAD BRAKES GONE THROUGH. IT HAS A NEWER CLUTCH. 4 WHEEL DRIVE DOES NOT ENGAGE. DIVORCED TRANSFER CASE, HAVE NOT IDENTIFIED WHAT THE 350 CAME OUT OF, BUT HAS HEI ELECTRONIC IGNITION. HAS BFG ALL TERRAIN 16.5 INCH TIRES ON VERY NICE AMERICAN RACING OUTLAW WHEELS. INTERIOR IS ORIGINAL, AND UNCUT. FLOOR MOUNTED STARTER HAS BEEN REMOVED AND HAS A START BUTTON ON THE DASH. HEATER COR, AND CONTROLS NOT HOOKED UP, MISSING GLOVE BOX, FUEL GUAGE AND WIPERS ARE NOT WORKING. ALL LIGHTS AND SIGNALS WORK WITH EXCEPTION OF BRAKE LIGHTS, SPEEDO AND DASH LIGHTS DO NOT WORK.
THIS TRUCK IS BEING SOLD AS A RUNNING, DRIVING PROJECT, WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT IT IS NOT A HIGH SPEED DRIVER. IT WOULD BE A GREAT TRUCK FOR A RANCH, HOBBY FARM, OR VACATION PROPERTY. I HAVE INVESTED THOUSANDS IN THE APPERANCE, BUT MECHANICAL WORK IS NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE RESTORATION. SOLD AS-IS WITH NO WARRANTY IMPLIED OR CONSENTED.
