1950 Chevy 3100 pickup truck
1950 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description
1950 Chevy 3100 Pickup Truck Project This is not your typical rusty project. This is a nearly completed project that does not yet have a title. The VIN number listed stayed with the sheet metal from the original truck but is listed on a notarized paper that will help with title process. In Ohio, I would title this as a self-assembled vehicle and I have all receipts. This project started with frame/engine/transmission/rear diff and the sheet metal is new from parts suppliers. I have over $30,000 in this project but it will sell for much less than that due to no title etc. The cab alone was over $8,000from Premier Street Rods. The original 216 engine was rebuilt by Smyth Automotive and sounds great. The 4-speed transmission and rear diff (with Patrick's kit)were rebuilt at Ridge Transmission and treated with Eastwood's 4-step chassis black paint process. The frame was treated in an alkaline bath and immediately painted with primer and durable chassis black paint. The wheels were powder coated by Wheel Doctor. The truck has new tires. Comes with two hoods - one from an old truck and a new one from parts suppliers. Most of these parts came from Classic Parts and LMC Truck. The in-cab gas tank is new. The truck needs window glass and rubber installedand completion of wiring. The bed metal is all new and newly painted. The fenders and hood will need repainting due to scratches etc. I have the glass and rubber and wiring parts and many other parts to be included. The truck is wired in 6V. It startsright up and the motor sounds great and I drive it around the neighborhood. Am sellingdue to my new motorcycle habit, no time to work onthe truckand need room in the garage. Thanks for looking. Happy to answer questions. The mileage is inaccurate because of newly rebuilt engine and new speedometer.
