1967 Chevrolet Impala Description

Full-size muscle doesn't get much cooler than this 1967 Impala. A handsome cruiser that's ready to enjoy at the local cruise night, it represents Chevy's top-of-the-line in terms of style and performance. And thanks to a strong-running 327, it's a genuine pleasure to drive on the street, not just a pretty face. The fastback profile of the big Imp looks fast just sitting still, and in 1967, there was no faster way to transport yourself and four friends than this. Finished in gorgeous code F Marina Blue (which is the car's original color), you can park this car anywhere and use it to navigate it's so brilliant. The crease running along the top of the quarter panels stands out thanks to great attention to detail, and every panel was hand-fitted so that the gaps are quite good all the way around. The two-stage urethane paint has a shine that buffs up nicely even though it's a few years old and has been driven on the street. Up front there's a polished grille, bright chrome bumpers, and traditional Impala 3-element taillights out back. We've sold quite a few Impalas over the years, but the big blue ones seem to be everyone's favorites. And yes, it's a real SS, so it comes by those badges honestly.Like the exterior, the interior is simply a nicely restored stock setup, complete with bucket seats and a center console. All the upholstery is as nice as the bodywork, with original patterns and materials expertly replicated, and only the steering wheel stands out as not as nice as the rest. Beautifully finished instruments show sharp markings and clear lenses, and there's an aftermarket tach and auxiliary gauges under the dash. And it's so correct that even the original AM radio is still in the center of the dash. In back, this big Imp offers full-sized comfort even for rear seat passengers as well as what may very well be one of the largest trunks ever fitted to an American car. It's finished properly with spatter paint and a correct mat, plus a full sized Rally wheel and spare tire.As I said, there's decent horsepower under the hood in the form of a 327 cubic inch small block V8. Equipped with a Edelbrock intake and 4-barrel carb, it makes smooth power, yet is happy to trundle around town without complaint. The engine bay was prepped and painted as well as the exterior, and that lovely 327 was dressed in Chevy Orange with handsome finned valve covers similar to those found on later Z/28s. Things like the air cleaner, accessories and radiator are original-spec, and you'll also note it has power steering and brakes, which are practically mandatory on a car this big. A Powerglide 2-speed automatic transmission is built to take the abuse, and spins a rugged 10-bolt rear, which hangs on a fresh set of shocks. Stock cast iron exhaust manifolds feed a new Flowmaster dual exhaust system, but it's otherwise quite stock underneath. The bright Marina Blue finish is perfectly complemented by the flashy Rally wheels with polished trim rings and sitting on 225/70/15 Goodyear radials.Big Impalas still represent a lot of car for the money, just as they did in the '60s. This one is in exactly the right condition for easy cruising and lots of fun without worries. Call today!
