1934 Chevrolet 5 Window Coupe Description

This steel-bodied 1934 Chevrolet five-window coupe is a custom hot rod that commands attention everywhere you go. With stunning black and red paintwork, A/C interior, and an interesting performance-built powerplant, it's everything you want in one custom coupe. The main body is all General Motors steel, a rarity these days. The running boards are fiberglass to get that terrific swoopy styling, but in total, the GM metal has a solid feeling you understand the moment the doors latch. This coupe has been heavily invested in to make it a great custom rod, and everyone knows it the moment it comes into sight thanks to the custom paint. The black and red have a high gloss finish with an overall clearcoat that gives the full body an even shine when the sunlight hits it. Plus everywhere there is a separation of colors a blue pinstripe adds character and distinction. In fact, with paint this nice, the brightwork had to up its game to amazing on places like the bold hood ornaments, bumpers, headlight surrounds, classic hubcaps, and wire grill. While this car looks mean on the outside, it's exceptionally accommodating on the inside. It starts with a pair of dark bucket seats borrowed from a later Pontiac that are vastly more comfortable than anything that came out of the '30s. And even the driver's side is power adjustable. This charcoal color upholstery matches the door panels, carpeting, and even the trunk a hallmark of an expensive, uniform build. You get an artful steering wheel borrowed from a 1960s Impala, and on the tilt steering column is a Moon Eyes tach. Beyond that is a full set of VDO gauges set is a cool engine-turned alloy panel. This Chevy has been modified to really offer thoughtful extras, that's why there are even cup holders at the base of the floor shifter. And when it comes to upgrades, it custom does them right. You get modern R134a air conditioning to keep you and your passenger cool on long trips. Speaking of road trips, the AM/FM/CD stereo with satellite navigation readout means this classic is just an informative as a modern coupe.Under the hood is an interesting treat. Most people expect to see a small block V8 when you lift the butterfly covers. So the crowds are going to spend extra time looking over this inline-six with Offenhauser head. In fact, the builders knew this motor would attract attention, that's why it has been trimmed in red, given tidy wires & hoses, and finished off with a checkerboard firewall. This 250ci motor has plenty of power thanks to dual two-barrel carburetors and split headers. It also gives the inline-six a far more muscular grower out of the dual exhaust. But the build is far more thoughtful than just for providing power. For example, the Walker radiator means this Chevy stays cool even in traffic. It feels great going down the road thanks to upgrades such as a Mustang II independent front suspension rack & pinion steering, a sway bar rear suspension, and disc brakes all four wheels. Add in the TH350 three-speed and modern tread hiding behind the classic whitewall tire appearance, and this is the classic coupe you're going to want to drive everywhere. This Chevy will make people stop and stare wherever it travels, and thanks to a long list of comfort features, this custom build can be your interstate transport. It's all the hot rod fun with none of the pitfalls. A coupe like this doesn't come along very often. Call today!!!
