This is a very nice 1948 Chevy coupe custom street rod. As you can see from the pictures this body has been heavily modified. The front fenders have been molded into a custom built grill and lower valance (a 48 Chevy hood turned upside down). The hood has been pan-caked and reshaped. Car has a custom one piece windshield. Raingutters have been removed, Door tops reshaped. Exhaust tip fabricated thru body in front of rear wheels. Car has P/B, P/W, P/S and Vintage air A/C. Chassis has a Fat Man front end and a Ride Tech triangulated rear suspension, with 4 wheel air bags. Engine is a Pro built SBC with Keith Black flat top pistons, 202 small chamber heads, Comp cam with roller tip rockers and double wound valve springs. Lots of bling under the hood including a Downsville custom six row radiator. Engine requires premium fuel with octane booster.Wheels are 18" American Mags with 235/40 R18 tires. Build was completed in 2005 and driven to show and cruise nights (21396 miles) until 2011 when it was put in storage. It was bought by the current owner and refurbished and driven daily for the last six months.
