1965 Chevelle Malibu Convertible
1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Description
Arizona rust freegarage find. Purchased at estate auction from a 93 year old man that had passed away and no family. NO TITLE bill of sale only. I believe he was theoriginal owner andbought it in Tuba City AZ. It shows 11k on odometer. I'm sure 111k. Car is to nice to be 211k miles. Last driven in 1989. Owner had put brand new tires on it and set up on jack stands. I started motor with gas can and motor does not smoke or run rough. Actually ran very well. Did not try trans as shifter on column does not work properly but shifts fine from under hood. It is a 283 CI 2 barrel carb and 2 speed powerglide. Single exhaust with a glass pack muffler and a 10 bolt rear end. Didn't check but I wouldn't think it has a posi. This car is unmolested original and rust free. I will show picture of body work from dents. Passenger side fender at bottom had body work done and now has paint bubbling. Passenger side rear quarter just in front of rear tire had some small body damage and repaired. Drivers front fender at bottom shows no bondo but paint blistering. The battery tray has rusted through but when you look at it,it is solid underneath it. Top is in great shape but rear window is shot. Picture of trunk shows rust under original mat. I checked several areas with a screwdriver and its very very solid with flakes of rust on surface of trunk. Interior has upholstery torn at its stitches. Seat cover on front seat. Door panels and carpet are decent to good condition. Original hubcaps 2 good and 2 broken. Original jack and stand.I forgot to check power top to see if it works. The floor boards have zero rot out. Only surface rust and not that much. I have all keys for ignition doors glove box and trunk.Top boot cover inside trunk. Brake peddle goes to floor and cracked windshield. This is a hard to find untouched rust free AZ automobile.A true Arizona rust free car. I can go to DOT in Az and apply for title but it will take a couple months just to sign it over to a newowner. I can answer any questions and send more pictures of car but what is shown should tell you how nice this car is. NADA and Hagerty shows this car being $9700 to $13,000. My reserve is on the low side of these estimates.
