1952 Chevrolet Other Pickups pickup Description
No Reserve Auction
1952 GMC 100 1/2 ton long bed pickup, numbers matching engine very original and very solid. This truck was owned by a farmer in Wyoming for most of its life and it was taken good care of its whole life. Nothing has been modified on it, still has the 6 volt system, it has the original 228 v6 engine and 4 speed manual trans and the frame has not been cut on. The title matches the vin number on the engine which is the official way they titled these year trucks. This is a running driving truck, the engine sounds very good and doesn't smoke but it will need a new or rebuilt carb. The trans shifts good and the brakes have been gone through and what needed to be replaced was replaced (look at new parts below). Very little rust in this truck, the only rust I have found is on the bottom of the driver's side rear fender where the running board meets the fender. There is no rust in the floor pans or the cab corners not even a pin hole. The spot where the original spare tire carrier was has been patched up and there is a patch on each side of the rear of the bed looks like the old owner had something welded in the bed and then patched it up (see pics). Serial plate number is10222P43153. All the gauges work but not sure how accurate they are. Doors open and shut good, door glass rows up and down good. Only thing that it needs if you want to drive it everyday is new or rebuilt carb and front and rear lights. Scroll down to see video of the truck driving.
