1979 CHEVROLET C10 SHORT BED STEPSIDE PROJECT
1979 Chevrolet C-10 Description
THIS AUCTION IS FOR A PROJECT VEHICLE - PLEASE READ!!
That being said, this is a great little project truck that has been lowered properly by C- notching the frame (see pics) it has staggered Boss wheels 22" in rear, 20" in front. The wheels are very corroded and will need to be re chromed or painted. The paint on the cab looks ok, but it has some rust on the driver side door under the shaved drip rail and on the front of the hood at the front lip. The bed has had body work done to the left wheel well as you can see in the pics, it needs to be finished and the entire bed needs paint. The truck has been painted with Summit racing single stage Black Cherry, so matching it will not be an issue. It does not currently have a bed floor.
The motor is a badass 383 stroker that is practically brand new. I bought it in 2014 and installed it in my 1971 Chevelle, I ran it for a couple months and was in a bad accident that pretty much totalled the body of the Chevelle, but left the motor intact. It is a Blueprint 383 Stroker with 390hp and 390ft lbs of torque, I have all the paperwork on it, including dyno sheet. I have the headers, drive shaft, and a four core radiator that comes with the truck. It has a TH350 automatic column shift which was rebuilt when the 383 was installed. The motor sounds amazing with the flat tappet cam and headers, has a definite lope to it that may scare the neighbors, it is mean!
The truck has been sitting for exactly a year, and I am getting rid of it because, like anything else, if you haven't touched it for a year, you should probably let someone else play with it!
I figure it would take less than 2 grand to finish this truck, everything is there and all the hard stuff has been done, hope it goes to someone who will finish it and love it!
Clear FL title in hand - cash only!!!!!
