1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Chrome and Stainless Steel Description

To insure the highest quality of finish, the entire body was acid dipped, blocked and sanded to create a ripple-free canvas which received an electrostatically applied shell of gleaming PPG Nissan Red. All of its chrome and stainless steel trim was replated and refurbished to a very high level, and with the installation of fresh PPG glass and polished American Racing Torque Thrust wheels at all four corners; a beautiful and striking visual balance was achieved. Hand-formed console in body color contains not only a pair of a/c ducts, HVAC controls, stereo head unit and B&M billet shifter, but also a pair of 6 ½ inch stereo speakers as well. Custom Rod Gauges instrument pod and Budnik steering wheel. Under the hood lies a 355 cubic inch Tony Barker Racing engine putting out 425 reliable h.p.; thanks in part to a F.A.S.T. Fuel injection system atop an Edelbrock Victor intake with deep breathing Brodix aluminum heads sending the spent gasses out through a pair of Hooker Super Competition headers, custom X-pipe and Magnaflow mufflers. A four-speed 700R4 automatic transmission from Bow Tie Overdrives channels those ponies to a ten bolt rear end. Air Ride Technologies tubular front A-arms with two inch drop spindles act in concert with a four-link rear suspension and four Shock-Wave airbags that smooth out the road and can be adjusted to meet your personal tastes conveniently from the center dash glove box. Four-wheel disc brakes assists in keeping this well engineered and handsome restomod in check, as does its power steering, power brakes and I-Did It tilt-steering. Any questions?
