This is one of my favorite cars, but I have just too many play cars and trucks right now, so one needs to find a new home!
The car is supposed to be a real original matching numbers 1972 Corvette, but I have no way to guarantee that it is THE ORIGINAL ENGINE, but it certainly appears to be. All casting and stamping numbers appear to be correct. Odometer reading at 64,240 is believed to be original, but I can’t guarantee that.
Matching number 350/ 360 ft. pound torque motor:
Stamped VO321CKX
Partial VIN 12S517557
Correct 3970014 casting C-10-72 block
Factory Tach dash with gauges.
The paint is very nice. It has been recently professionally water sanded and buffed. Has a very nice deep shine.
The bumpers are in nice shape. All of the stainless and trim is nice. The engine bay is nicely detailed.
Glass is in good shape. Side glass has some minor scratches.
Everything works on the car. Everything-speedometer, heater, lights, vacuum door, courtesy light, turn signals, dash lights, back up lights, gauges and lights as well as the Factory Air Conditioning all work great.
I’m sure I left something out, but hopefully this at least gives you an idea.
The car is registered, licensed, insured and tagged in my name.
It is a Georgia Tag Receipt and Bill of Sale Car. It doesn’t not have a current active title. Call me and we can discuss that too. This works in most states as it is with the current tag receipt and a Notarized Bill of Sale for you to get registered or titled.
Condition
Overall the car is extremely nice, especially given that it is a 44 year old car. As far as we can tell it has only had one re paint and all of the fiberglass IS ORIGINAL except for the LT1 hood. Very clean car overall but I would not call it a perfect show car, at least not to win trophy’s with. It’s more of a driver style car, not really a full restoration. The floor pans are very nice as well as the overall underside especially for a driver car!
The engine is a true 1972 matching number date coded 350 block. It starts up quick, doesn’t smoke, good oil pressure. It’s more of a drive it anywhere car than a high end type show car. It does win trophy’s almost every show it goes to though.
Here are the “picks” I have.
The interior is very very nice. There is a slight wear area on the drivers seat, but very slight.
It does have a few chips here and there but nothing major. The paint is about 6 years old. If I didn’t tell you it was 6 years old you would think it has the appearance of new paint.
The car is extremely straight! Fit and finish is very good.
Email me and I can send you a foto album link with over 50 detailed pictures as well as a VIDEO so you can hear it run. Text me at 770-639-3671 and I can send you the video by text. If you are serious, let’s discuss. Don’t just hit that BUY IT NOW BUTTON without talking with me as it will be yours whether you like it or not. Look at my feedback, whenever I sell something on Ebay I try to be as detailed as I can giving you a factual description to the best of my knowledge. I don’t gloss up and armor all everything to cover things up in pics. I may add a Buy it Now price during the auction and I will reserve the right to end auction early if necessary. If you are serious, you should bid early, don’t wait till the end, as you just might miss it! This is NOT your average 1972 Corvette. Very good condition for a car that is over44 years old that you don’t see many of these days. You can drive, cruise, or show it, whatever your preference is on how you chose to enjoy it! Super solid car. Please note - most of my Collector type auctions never last the full ebay listing time.... so if you are serious about trying to bid to buy this, you need to go ahead and bid, don’t wait around to see what happens, because you just might miss it. Next thing you know it will still be on your watch list with auction ended and will be in someone else's garage. Terms of Sale An initial $500 non refundable deposit by PayPal is required within 24 hours of auction end, balance to be paid in full within 3 days of auction end. Any certified checks will have to fully clear all banks prior to new owner taking possession. Seller warrants to Buyer it has good and marketable title to said property, full authority to sell and transfer said property, and that said property is sold free of all liens, encumbrances, liabilities and adverse claims of every nature and description whatsoever. Seller has no knowledge of any hidden defects in and to the Vehicle, and believes to the best of the Seller's knowledge that the Vehicle being sold is in good operating condition and as described. With that said Vehicle is sold in "as is" condition and where presently located with no guarantees, no guarantees to authenticity, no buy backs, or no recourse. Buyer to pay all taxes, fees and transportation costs. ****Please understand you are bidding TO BUY, your ARE NOT bidding on the opportunity to be the first looker. If you end up winning the auction provided the reserve is met, you ARE expected to pay for the ca AS IS, where is, NO EXCEPTIONS!!! ****This is an EBAY auction and will be expected to be fully executed provided the reserve is met. Please do any and ALL your diligence PRIOR to bidding. If you want to come see it PRIOR to the auction end, please do so and I would encourage you to do that if possible. If you need your spouse or “significant others” approval prior to purchasing, please get that prior to bidding. Thanks for looking and best of luck and have FUN bidding to BUY! If I add a buy it now price and you hit the Buy It Now button, the car IS YOURS and you will be expected to make full payment ASAP within 48 hours!!! I can’t over emphasize this enough, but if you are a serious BUYER on this, I would prefer to discuss by phone and you can feel free to call or TEXT if you are interested – 770-639-3671. If you made it this far, thanks for your patience and I hope you enjoy looking at it! Best of Luck!!! |
