For Sale:
1969 El Camino project
This is a factory AC car
It was found sitting in a shop for years down in near Newark, NJ
Luckily speaking, it does not have the usual body rot for that reason, it simply was not out in the cold and nasty Northeast winters we get.
Yes it does have some rust, but not what you would expect and surely not a disaster in any sense!
The bed is fine, chassis is solid, and only some rust in the front floor pans, no nightmare stuff
It sports an original SS hood and a 396!
This is a running and driving classic that just needs some TLC to be a really cool driver
The 30 plus year old paint job needs to be stripped and there is minimal bodywork that needs to be done
In my opinion, you wouldn’t need to replace the quarters, doors, fenders, and god knows what else as in many other cars
In any event, a clean 396 ElCamino is surely an oddity, and would even make a dynamite advertising car for your repair or body shop!
Clean NJ title
Yes it is a project to restore, every one on these cars is, none are perfect and even the nice ones need something redone to your liking.
All in all, even with the few issues, this car can be put back together on a relatively low budget, it is still a find, and can be a fun car none the less
That said…….
I will not release this car whatsoever until funding has cleared the bank process
Cash on the spot is what you need if you intend to take it home when you get here
