Well the time has come to let someone else scare the S*** out of theirloved ones on the way to get groceries, car show, sunday cruise, or auto cross pr. Its your chance to own a very own adrenalinepumping beast of a 56 chevy truck.
The Good
Well just look at the pictures, it just gets better behind the wheel. Full frame off build ( i have pictures upon request). Stripped to bare metal and completelyprept and painted by Bruce J. No Rust and No micky mouse body filler hack job. I have a magnets and pictures for those skeptics. The engine is an GM LSA Super Charged6.0 LQ9 Iron block with Aluminum L92 LS3 heads with a mild cam to really set things off. We were getting 450hp/ 460 torq at the wheel with 8 lbs of boost. You can crank it up further but recommend getting your affairs in order before letting her loose on the streets. Very solid on the road, handles great in the canyons. Here are some details

THE BAD
Every one has to have a little bad with the good.
That stock 4L65 works perfectly and i have not had any issues with it. However the laws of physics and those internet forum gods state that with that kind of horsepower it will fail eventually. I recommend putting in a built 4L60
Passenger Power window is a little slow going up
No wipers. I live in Cali where rainfall is pretty much extinct. The motor and everything is there if you want to hook it up
The tune could be tweekd a little more. I might just be picky and want everything perfect but on intial start she will rev up to 3k for a sec before coming back to normal idle.
No interior cabin light, you can figure it out if you want
few minor paint chips from normal road use on the street
