1970 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500 Custom/20 Description

This truck has been in the family since new. It was purchased by my stepfather's father in 1970. My stepfather refreshed the truck sometime in the mid-late 1980's (after his dad passed away)...repaint, new upholstery, rebuilt the engine, etc. It has been parked in a garage or enclosed carport for at least the last 25 years and probably most of its life.
The truck has been used as a light duty hauler making regular runs to the dump for the last few years. I saw the odometer turn over myself. It has just over 100K miles.
The battery is two years old and the tires are also about two years old but I doubt they have over 1k miles on them. The last set of tires had to be replaced because they were over seven years old and I couldn't get a flat repaired. The spare is also new.
The truck comes with a bed liner and camper shell that I removed to show condition of the bed...and I think it looks better with out the shell.
The a/c does not work but the system appears to be all there. Also the heater core recently began to leak so I bypassed it, and the radiator has a small leak in the upper core that just started.
Unfortunately the title is salvaged as a result of an overzealous insurance company because of some damage to the fender/rocker/door on the drivers side that happened when the value of this truck was at its lowest. The drivers door opens and closes no problem. You can see exactly where the damage is. To a custom builder this would be routine repair. This is the only damage this truck has ever sustained.
I have the piece of trim molding off the passengers side, the original radio, the original air cleaner and maybe some other items.
This truck is located in Napa, CA My stepfather passed and now it belongs to my mom and she wants to sell it. We prefer a local buyer but will consider out of state with a minimum of hassle. You make all arrangements.
