1960 Chevrolet El Camino Base Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door Description

This car is a totally restored vehicle, It has had the quarter panels and front floor pans replaced by a bodyshop through the previous owner. I have seen a lot of these 59- 60 el caminos loaded with rust, this is the best car for being rust free I have seen, and only a couple of small areas under the bed needed repaired. Almost everything on this car had been rebuilt or replaced, including the interior (done in Impala style) all the original guages work having been rebuilt including the speedometer, All new under carriage, bushings, ball joints, etc, even has new body mounts installed, a total frame up restoration, the underside has been primed and painted frame etc. all new glass except back window, the car has had all new grommets, seals, gaskets installed. new long side trim, the back bumper rechromed, although the front was nice and not rechromed, all new factory brake, new rebuilt wiper motor, (2spd). heater valve and core, radio rebuilt although not hooked up, The seats were cleaned painted and covered with new foam, and a complete Ciadella impala stlyle interior installed. The engine and bay area, all cleaned and painted, a new 3core aluminum radiator, new battery, a competely rebuilt 283 engine with a rebuilt carter 4 barrel carburetor, mated up to a stock reconditioned 3 spd transmission and a Hurst floor shifter,. a rebuilt generator and power steering pump. all run and work as they should, the gas tank was boiled out, sealed, and primed and painted with a new sending unit. The tires are just the rollers used to move the car around in the restoration shop, so it will need tires as these are oldies.. This is not a 1000point show car or a trailer queen, just a good completely restored car, ready to go.. The cars runs and drives very nice. I have well over 35K in this restoration. I am asking for a $1,000.00 deposit withing 24 hours to eleminate the tire kickers, as I have the car listed locally, so reserve the right to end the listing early if it sells,, I encourage you to come and look the car over drive it before bidding if possible, or call for anymore information, I am sure I have forgot some things, If you need to shi, that will be up to your arrangements. Ask any question, be happy to answer, 1-208-734-7021 or 1-208 -280-3365 ask for Floyd. Thanks for looking.
