Up for your consideration is this 1960 bubbletop Impala. This car will need a complete restoration. Floors need to be replaced as well as the trunk pan. You will need to patch and put in a new quarter panel section on both sides. Don't believe you need to replace the complete quarter panels, although it depends on how far you want to take this project. Shows original colors, black exterior with the red/white interior combination. Nice color combination for this year. On the plus side this car is all original and you won't be hunting around for all the parts, they are all here minus one piece of chrome. This looks to have the original 283 power pack engine and the original transmission. The car has not been hacked up and altered, which is something a restorer would want. The car starts up and engine turns but carb needs work ie: rebuild. The interior is all there and complete ready to reupholster and the dash is not cracked or cut up. Radio is there. The frame is solid and not rusted out and the rocker panels are also in good shape. This car is a great start to your project. I have a parts car impala that I will include if you want it as well as a very nice extra trunk lid that will also go with the car. Needless to say this is not a running driving car and will need plenty of work, but once done it will be a beauty and work of art. This is probably the most beautiful Harley Earl design and one of the finest cars ever to come out of Detroit. Not many of these left, especially a complete original Impala. I will assist in getting this car shipped but I do not offer shipping myself. Car is located in Greenville area of South Carolina. I would deliver to you for an additional agreed upon cost within 700 miles from zip code 29645.I require a $1000 deposit within 24 hours of purchase date.
