The third generation Camaro hit the showroom floor in 1982, which was a shorter and lighter version than the second gens. The only difference for 1983 was an upgraded transmission, which gave the previous 3-speed automatic transmission a fourth gear with overdrive.
This 80’s Z example is finished in factory code 19 Black paint over factory Charcoal cloth interior. The car was recently restored and it looks fantastic (see all photos on main website: Garage Kept Motors). The T-Top coupe is powered by the original, numbers matching H-Code 305ci/150hp 4bbl V8 engine mated to the original 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and power to the rear wheels.
