1950 CHEVY DELUXE DELIVERY WAGON!!

BEAUTIFUL CONDITION!!

RARE FIND!!

Ice Cold A/C!!

Before the day of the minivan or large SUV, there was something called a wagon….or station wagon. These vehicles were used to transport people, goods, foods, and materials. As America grew in its trade and economy, these types of cars, like this 1950 Delivery Wagon offered her, kept America going. They offered efficiency, power and convenience and companies started to realize that advertising their logo on the side of these massive vehicles became a cheap way to promote your business. Now that their work has been all completed and there is no need for them to clock and report for duty, they’ve been coming more and more collectible as time goes on. But the story that comes along with this vehicle is just as great as the car itself. It brings back memories from the days of going to car shows with my father and listening to all the fathers tell the story behind each car they looked at. My father did the same. And the story behind these types of cars were that they help build America. Whether it was the milk man dropping off milk for the week or the plumber coming to fix your pipes. Whatever the reason is, this Chevy, most likely was behind it. Please read on to find out more on the condition of this 1950 Chevy Delivery Wagon.

Exterior:

As you can see from the photos, this car presents very well. It was restored 8-10 years ago and still looks great. The paint still shines with plenty of luster. The bright-work still shines and the glass is clear and damage free. The body is solid and it was well preserved through the years. All the lights work as they should. The paint color we believe is Coca Cola red. The tires and wheels are also in excellent condition. Please let us know of any questions you may have.

Interior:

Again, the interior was also redone about 10 years ago and presents very well. The back compartment is almost like a blank canvas. Its ready for hauling or you can customize it however you’d like. The dash and door panels are in great shape for its age and everything works on the dash. The pictures will explain the story of the condition. Please let us know of any questions you may have.

Drive Train:

The inline 6 cylinder is original to the car. It also has a 3 on the tree. And for you young folks, that’s a 3 speed on the steering column. The inline 6 cylinder was designed for high torque which made hauling materials easy. The brakes, suspension and overall running condition is road ready and in good shape. Please let us know of any questions you have about the Drive Train of this vehicle

In Summation…..keeping these cars on the road is important to the American Automobile History. The good thing is that they always fit well in any collection and are eye catching in parades and local shows. Please feel free to call us and discuss this vehicle or any of our many cars we offer!
