1973 Chevrolet Corvette Description
Private sale, am not a dealer.
For your consideration is a beautiful and original 1973 Chevrolet Corvette coupe showing 62,817 original miles on the odometer. This car runs and drives perfect. Optioned with power steering, ower breaks, ir conditioning, nd trim code 422 dark saddle leather interior. Believed to be a four-owner vehicle this numbers-matching car had lived its life in Michigan until April of 2015. Finished in code 952 bright yellow this vehicle retains 80 percent of the original paint; the previous owner stated that he had replaced the front bumper as the original had deteriorated and matched the paint as close as possible. It must also be noted that there has been some blending work done on the rear deck and front fender, t is unknown when this work was preformed as it could have been done at the dealer in 1973. In 2004 the previous owner was concerned with the oil pressure and decided to have the engine pulled and rebuilt by Moran Chevrolet of Mt.Clemens Michigan. During this time the intake and carburetor were changed from original to a weiand intake and a holley carburetor (Note, he vehicle will come with the original Rochester Q-jet, nd air cleaner). Since the engine rebuild in 2004 the car has only traveled 677 additional miles. The four-speed transmission shifts smooth, nd the clutch grabs perfect every time. The original unused Firestone steel radial 500 spare tire remains in place. The air conditioning is intact and hooked up but currently not working due to low freon. With the exception of some wear on the drivers seat, he interior is in perfect condition, o rips or holes in the carpet, as well as no cracks in the dash, nd parking break console. The original t top bags are in great shape and are in the rear compartment. Upon inspection of the vehicle I have found no rust any where on the frame, ird cage etc. This is a great vehicle that I would not hesitate to drive anywhere.
