1964 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport Description

I am selling my 1964 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport. The car was originally from Texas and it came from the factory in Ermine white with red Super Sport interior. The car was repainted only once by my cousin back in 1996 when he purchased it. He chose to paint the car candy apple red with the top in white, nd kept the interior original. The car has been in my family since 1996 and has seen less than 5K miles on the road since then. I was going to restore and paint the body back to it's original color. The car has been stored it in my buddy's body shop for the last 10 years. Unfortunately, have too many projects at this time and have to let this one go. The car is factory optioned with a 327/300HP engine, speed power-glide automatic transmission, actory air conditioning, ower steering, ower brakes, ual antennas, added dash, ide skirts, nd rain drip rails. The gas tank and fuel pump were replaced with a new ones and an Edelbrock carburetor was added approximately 5 years ago. I started up the car regularly andit always cranked right up and idled perfectly. Last summer when I went to go start it the floats inside the carb were sticking. The carburetor will need to be rebuilt to be driven. All the glass, hrome and moldings are in good shape. The interior is in good shape as well and the rear seats and door panels. Theywere shrink wrapped and stored. All the seats, oor panels, nd interior are in good shape and will clean up nicely. I have a new carpet for the car as well. I also have a set of original SS hub caps. The car needs someone to go through it and repaint the body. This will be a very nice car once completed and a great investment.
