This is a 53 chevy cab mounted on an 88 chevy 4x4 frame. It has a 130 HP 4 BT Cummins with a 4L60E chevy trans. It has power steering and brakes. New CV axles, rotors, brakes and calipers. A computer
added to shift transmission. A new stereo and speakers. B&M ratchet shifter. Has new Dolphin gauges that fit original holes in dash. The interior was completely redone a year and a half ago, however a mouse chewed
up the carpet some. The bed is welded tube steel covered with beautiful sassafras lumber, held down w/stainless steel strips. When I bought this truck, it had a 54 front clip on it and was titled as a 54. I used the 54 title but
put a 53 front on it. The motor is completely rebuilt, bored.30 over, new pistons and injectors. Runs really good. Gets about 25 mpg. I've drove it about 1300 miles. Fun to drive, turns heads. The cab has new cab
corners, cowl panels, part of the floor. All newtinted glass and seals, new door handles, electric wiper, new gas tank, tilt wheel. 2010 chevy wheels and new Michelin tires. 245/17. New EZ wiring.
The Bad. I have not had time to complete this project. It needs an actuator in the front axle to make 4x4 work. I have the glove box door but no inside for it. The speakers aren't mounted yet.
