Selling our 1984 Chevy 3/4 ton C20 pick up, we are the 3rd owner. Our plans were todo a preservation / mild restoration onit since it was such a solid and original truck and needs very little work, but we decided we have too many projects going and not enough parking spaces. The truck is all original, is a 3/4 ton 2wd with the 350 engine and since it was a heavy duty truck, it did not have a catalytic converter fromthe factoryand limited emissions control. Trans is TH400 and has the 14 bolt rear differential.
Mechanically, the truck runs very well, AC works, heater works, cruise works, both power windows work, factory radio works. The few issues at has are, theleft gas tank does not work, the power door locks do not always work from the passenger door and assume its the switch, the wiper control stalk works, but spins all the way around, the chrome trim around the ignition switch will not stay secureand the driver side valve cover gasket is leaking a little. I recently drove the truck 300miles with no issues at all, not bad for a 33 year old truck!!! Tires are BFG Long Trail T/A's mounted on steel 16" rims with the correct wheel covers, tires are fair, will still pass inspection, but would recommend replacing in the next 6 months due to age.
Interioris all original, that means the seat material is worn and torn and covered, but the pad still looks good, dash is cracked, door panels look good, carpet is good, the brushed silver trim around the gauges is in pretty good shape also and not cracked.
Body is straight, has some minor rust on the rear fenders behind the wheels, but the cab corners look good and so does the bottom of the doors, truck was sold in Oklahoma and we bought it from Oklahoma, so not too much rust or a northern truck, paint is all original, top Indian Brown is pretty thin, the tan center is pretty good...remember its 33 years old and all original!!!
