"GM built 6230 of these 1982 Camao Z/28 Indy 500 Pace Cars and only 363 of them had a 4 speed manual transmission"

After 20 years of collecting cars, have decided to sell/downsize some of my unique, are, ow mileage, ust free muscle cars. Up for grabs is my 82 Indy 500 Pace Car with a documented 39,410 original miles and per the clean accident, itle, dometer, vent free auto check (8/1/2015) 7/21/2004 showing 32,110 miles as the car went thru the Midwest Region auto auction. I have the original build sheet which I found under the driver’s seat last summer, t states that the car was delivered from the factory to Davidson Chevrolet in Mobridge, outh Dakota and going back thru the auto check it appears that I am the fifth owner of the car since it was bought new? All as I can say, ou have to see this car to believe just how clean, riginal, nmolested true survivor condition that it is in for being 34 years old!

Everything, mean everything on the car works as it should just like new, ncluding the AC that blows cold air. This car has never been hot-rodded, aced, ltered, odified or abused and is completely 100% stock original (even all of the exhaust) just like the day it came off of the assembly line from General Motors with the exception of the battery of course and the aftermarket radio installed some point in its life. As you look under the hood you will find everything all in order/intact with no alterations of any kind, eck it still has the original paint on the motor if you can see it though all of the government controlled pollution crap. I did NOT even clean the motor…..it does not need it because you will not find any grease/oil leaks anywhere on top or under this car as it is dry as a whistle! I started the car up last week (about 4 pumps on the accelerator, wo revolutions) after sitting since last July and it ran perfect including the choke, t never shut off, issed, puttered or smoked at all….just like a new car should even though it is not fuel Injected. The engine runs smooth as silk with NO knocks, ifter/rod ticking, xhaust leaks or any problems at all, s a matter of fact you could get into the car and drive it coast to coast with no worries/problems. When driving at highway speeds (70 mph) or city driving, ou will find that this car handles just like new as it should with only about 15 miles on the new tires it does not pull to either side of the road when letting go of the steering wheel at any speed or braking, he factory 4-speed shifter works very nicely shifting very smooth in all four gears and reverse.

Underneath the car you will see it is just as clean as the outside, O scale on the floorboards, rame or rust repair of any kind, ust the original factory under coating just as it left the assembly line back in 1982. As you look at the bottom of the car you will see NO oil, rease residue/buildup like you see on high mileage cars, gain showing you that the 39,410 miles is totally original on this car. Looking at the interior you find it was a non-smoked in clean (all of the ash trays are new never used) very, ery presentable showing its original seat covers with very minimal wear, hat is truly amazing is the original black dash pad with no cracks or fading, ven the carpeting is original and in outstanding condition as it should for a low mileage survivor car, ven the factory GM floor mats show little to no wear at all. The headliner is in fair condition with no rip, ears, r cuts of any kind, owever the glue is just starting to come lose from the foam backing (nothing major though) which is typical of all GM 80’s cars.

Lookings at the exterior of this car you will find ALL of the original glass is in perfect condition with no chips, racks or any damage of any kind. While standing in front of the car looking down the hood you will see some of the paint coming off of the front factory fiberglass hood (about 12" up from the very front) which is typical for this silver paint back in the day, specially on the hood from the heat and the rear top of the trunk has some very minor sun fading. From what I can tell looking the car over, t still has all of its factory original paint/stripes which makes it a true survivor car, he only small dent/ding that I could find is on the passenger’s side door below the key hole stripe going downward, do believe a dent less repair guy could make that go away. I do have the antenna mast for the car, took it off because the car had a cover on it while it has been in storage.

To sum it all up: this is a very nice running, lean, ust free numbers matching doucumented (build sheet) True RARE 4 speed 82 Camaro Z/28 Indy Pace Car loaded with factory options (see build sheet) that will always go up in value day after day. I am sure I forgot something to tell you about the car, owever if you would like more or any specific pictures, lease ask. I can also send you my phone number and you can view/test drive this car in person by appointment only.

This very same car is for sale locally, o I may end the auction at any given time without notice!

I am open for cash offers, agerty muscle car values has an estimate of $17,800 however it does not take in consideration of the extremely low original miles on the car so no need for low ball offers as I have it priced to sell far less than what the market is telling that it is worth. Let’s be fair with the offers and offer what you can afford, ot what you think you can afford, ake sure to ask your wife/husband or significant other before buying the car to save us all the hassle of not going thru with the deal!!!!!!!!

Terms and conditions of sale:

If you do not have the money, lease do not bid, O DAY DREAMERS, IRE KICKERS, OWE YOU’S OR WOODEN NICKLES, ASH IS ALWAYS KING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The high bidder will pay a $500 non-refundable postal money order or PayPal payment 2 days after the auction ends. I expect the balance to be paid in full within 10 days after the auction ends via cash, r Bank wire transfer (No Pay Pal UNLESS YOU PAY ME THE 3.5% THEY CHARGE ME). The car must be picked up in 15 days unless other arrangements have been made. The car does NOT leave the yard until it is paid for in full. I can help you find a very good, easonable and reliable carrier at your expense. I have a very good friend that lives in Texas and all he does is transport cars one at a time on a 20ft trailer all over the US. You can always fly in to our airport, will pick you up and you can drive the car home! I could possibly deliver the car anywhere in the state on my open bed car trailer for a very reasonable/cheap price of $.80 a mile, gain the car MUST be payed for in full before it leaves my yard, O exceptions!!!
