1969 "True Survivor" Nova
1969 Chevrolet Nova Description
This a very, ery nice factory original 1969 Nova with NO modifications what so ever and in true pristine condition.
This car was purchased 4/20/1969 from Ed Mollison Chevrolet in Birmingham, labama. The owner (a 54 yr old lady at that time) kept the car it's entire life until passing away in the fall of 2015. The car has 39,414 original miles on it, nd according to the family, as seen little to no rain and never any snow. There is no rust...NONE....ever. The car remained in Alabama it's entire 47 yr life and was always garage kept. I have the original purchase paperwork, rotecto plate, uild sheet, tc that goes with the car.
The condition of the car is amazing. It's like climbing into a time machine. The factory A/C works perfect, he horn, oor buzzer, ipers, M radio, ome light, ll the lights work "as new". The chrome and stainless is all original and there is no more than 1 or 2 tiny little rock nicks in one piece on the front...all the rest is as close to perfect as you can get without having them professionally massaged/polished. The paint in Dusk Blue and all original. The car spent a couple days in the body shop having the paint buffed and a couple "little old lady scuffs" removed. The result is the car looks amazing. Up close is some checking or cob webbing of the paint can be seen, ut overall for 47 yr old lacquer, he car looks great! The passenger door up front has a couple slight door dings in the molding. There's a dint in the center of the tail panel that has been partially worked out about an 1 1/2" overall. There's a dint in the RH quarter panel the size of a quarter. I have an appointment with the Dent Doctor to get it addressed, therwise, he rest of the car is super nice and straight. The equipment is: 307/2v, owerglide 2-spd, ower steering, nd air conditioning. The engine runs as a 39,000 mile small block should...perfect. The plug wires, ap, otor, tc are original. Brakes, ires, adiator hose (upper), attery, nd belts have been replaced. Exhaust is original, ut muffler needs replaced. The interior is near perfect and looks almost new; no rips or signs of heavy use. The vinyl top is 100% perfect. The glass is also near perfect with no chips, ogging, r scratches. The trunk is clean with no rust through issues. We did just install new BFG Radial TAs, 35s on front, 45s on rear.
The car drives amazing! Runs down the road with no rattles, queaks, r wind leaks.
We bought this car with the intentions of converting it to an LS9/6 speed auto restomod, ut after looking it over...it's just too perfect the way it is to change one thing. I temporarily bolted the spoiler on the front to see what it would look like...available if desired.
Feel free to email your phone number if you would like to speak about it, r email me any questions you want. There are no disappointments or excuses for this car. There is no "buy it now", ou can email with offers, ut this one I'd really want to see how it plays out. Reserve is in the low 20's to cover my investment.
