1970 Chevrolet Corvette Conv Extremely Rare 454/390hp 4spd Factory AC Description

1970 Corvette Convertible - Very Rare 454/390 hp, 4spd, Factory AC Convertible, very few of these Corvettes Produced. Has it's correct 454/390 hp motor, casting number on block is (3963512). The 454 starts up and runs fine. I would go through everything and give it a complete tune up, just from being stored over the years, but has always been started over the years, not just sitting. Several years ago the 454 was gone through. Has it's original Muncie 4spd and shifter. Has it's original big block posi rear end with 3.08 gears and rear big block sway bar, and that was the only gear ratio they offered with a 454/390 hp, 4spd with factory AC in a 1970 model Corvette.
The original color is Mulsanne Blue Metallic, paint code 976. A good part of the corvette has it's original paint. Has had some paint and body work done back in the 80's, It was done so long ago that the patina all blends together. The paint does show it's age, has it's fading, lacquer checking, scratches, has some very small cracks, nothing to major, just small stuff from ware and tear also age. The body overall is pretty straight. The frame looks to be solid with now major rust issues. You can see all of this in the posted pictures.
The original interior color is Blue, interior code 411. The interior is pretty much all original, years ago the carpet was replaced. Has telescopic tilt, buckets with console. It seems like most of the fiber optics work, the reverse lock out still works and the buzzer when the doors open still work. The tach drive works. The Convertible frame is in good shape, has brand new White convertible top the needs to be installed, also comes with all the weather stripping for the top. Still has the original vin sticker in the door jam. Has the rare textured black vinyl hardtop, with rear luggage Rack. BFG Tires Are in good shape. Some of the original parts are off the car like AC parts and odds and ends but everything is there and you can see all of this in the detailed posted pictures. The car shows 76076 miles.
