1972 Chevrolet C-10 2 DR STEPSIDE Description

1972 Chevrolet Short Bed Stepside. Not many of these around, was in a barn in Ky for many years. It was a rare color for 1972, Medium Red, which is like 1969 Chevrolet Huggar Orange that came on the Chevells SS Cars. It could also be ordered on any 69 Camaro. It is a half ton Stepside bed which is pretty rare for 1972. Ordered with Posi, it came with the standard 6 and nows screams for a V8 transplant. The 6 runs well and has a 3 sp manual trans with a vintage Indy Shifter. This is a driver, not a show truck, The truck is in gray primer, the body looks pretty straight, solid underneath, see the pics. It has a GMC grill and tailgate, but its a Chevy, check the glove compartment build sheet and vin. The wheels are vintage old style cragers and in nice condition. At the Mecum Dec,3 sale in Kansas City they had 5 1972 Chevy pickups that sold. Here are the results.

Since 1978 we have been a leader in finding rare and desirable cars. Most of our finds have done extremely well for our customers in terms of investments and enjoyment. Here is an example of a rare 1of LS6 Chevelle we sold for 50k in theearly 2000’s.

It was recently on eBay for 129k and has apparently sold.

We sold this car in 1999, we found it, researched it, documented it, restored it. Recently in the collection of internationally known collector Ron Pratte.

Another example, we brokered the only 1968 Camaro Z-28 Convertible in July 1993 for 165K, it sold in 2002 for over 7 figures. These are just a couple of examples of the thousands of cars we have sold, and many were super investments. We know the rare muscle car market like no one on the planet.
