1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Description

Up for auction is a 1967 Convertible Chevelle Malibu. I have owned the car for around 10 years. The gentleman I got the car from inherited it from his sister-in-law which she purchased new - making me the third owner. The car was ordered with a 250 6 cylinder engine and a 2 speed power glide automatic transmission. The car has factory power steering and factory power brakes. I have uploaded a bunch of pictures to try to show the car for what it is and also a couple videos of me doing a walk around and giving commentary on the condition.
The car is a great driver as it is, but if you are looking for a high end convertible, you can figure on a complete restoration. Below is a description that I have written out to give you my assessment of the cars condition:
Undercarriage:
Floor pans are in great condition. I uploaded a couple of pictures to show that.
Trunk pan has 2 places with rust issues. I also uploaded pictures that I highlighted to show the damage.
Body:
The car has in my opinion a solid body but it is scratched, dented and dinged from front to back. I did my best to show this in the pictures and the video. The only major rust issues on the body are the passenger side lower rear quarter and the passenger side lower front fender - should be visible in the pictures and video uploaded.
Interior:
The car has a pair of bucket seats in it now. It originally came with the bench seat. I pulled the bench seat out to get it recovered and it came up "missing" from the upholstery shop. The buckets are 67 seats but they were black and I dyed them gold to try to match. They are far from perfect, but they look ok - and it made the car drivable again. The back seat has a couple of tears/pad is cracked. The carpet isn't in the best shape - everything else like the door panels, window cranks, door handles are pretty much normal wear.
I do have a replacement dash pad and the three chrome bezels that accent the dash - which includes the bezel around the instrument cluster, the radio, and the piece that extends over top the glove box.
Convertible Top:
The top is still intact, but should be obvious from the pictures that it will need replaced. It has wear and tear and some holes. The top folds down and closes back as good as you could ask for.
Car does have the original owners manual and protect-o-plate.
The car has new tires and wheels and I also have the original steel wheels that came on the car.
If you have any questions, please ask. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANY TRADESI have extra pictures upon request.Message, call or text me at: 606-344-2247
