1969 Chevrolet Camaro Description

The list of modifications on this sinister 1969 Camaro would take up more space than we have here, but suffice to say, there's almost no component on this car that hasn't been massaged, upgraded, or rebuilt to deliver neck-snapping performance. This is the kind of car that gets noticed when the trophies are being handed out. Starting with a clean 1969 Camaro hardtop, it was stripped to the bone and rebuilt layer by layer. The first aspect of a successful street machine is the look, and this one delivers big. With Jet Black over Competition Red-Orange Pearl, all rendered in PPG two-stage urethane, you can almost feel the heat coming off the glossy flanks. The badges have been shaved and the metal underneath has been worked into shape better than the factory could ever manage. There's a cowl-induction hood, of course, plus a ducktail spoiler, so it has an OEM shape that works no matter what color you paint it. You'll also find a set of custom driving lights up front plus HID headlights in custom composite housings flanking a blacked-out SS grille. The interior is equally stunning and continues the black and orange theme. Leather buckets flank a painted center console that has been custom modified with auxiliary gauges, military-style power switches, and the coolest pushbutton shift controller you've ever seen. A billet wheel with a leather wrapper mirrors the shape of the paddle shifters mounted behind it-yes, you read that correctly, this is an early Camaro with paddle shifters, how cool is that? Two additional gauges have been mounted on the A-pillar, with a monster tach to the right. A/C, a custom stereo with LCD screen, and a G-Tech G-force meter have all been installed, making this the ultimate Saturday night special. The trunk offers a stock mat, and is stuffed full of audio gear, including a massive subwoofer and amplifier. Speaking of power, this Camaro came ready for a fight with a built 454 cubic inch big block. Built by Wells Racing Engines, every single component is new, not reconditioned, and the spec sheet includes an Edelbrock 850 CFM carburetor, a Professional Products intake, forged pistons, and a Competition Cams bumpstick with enough lift to make this thing sound like it eats kittens for lunch. Dressed in bright green paint just for effect, the engine bay is neatly detailed and highly functional thanks to a billet accessory drive system, new master cylinder feeding MBM power disc brakes, and a three-row aluminum radiator. Those paddle shifters manage a TH400 automatic from TCI, and the soundtrack is compliments of long-tube headers and race-spec Flowmaster mufflers that do the barest of minimums in terms of noise suppression. Trick 20-inch black wheels from Forte wear 225/35/20 front and 255/35/20 rear performance radials. Every bit as fast as it looks, this pro-built machine is so over-the-top that you'll be the undisputed king of the street and this is the car to beat on the show field. Call today!
