Up for your bidding consideration is a beautifully restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS. This is a real deal SS big block car built in early November 1968 before the well known X codes existed. The car was born with the ss option, a 396ci big block, 4 speed trans, front disc brakes, hugger orange paint, black vinyl top, and ivory hounds tooth interior. The original big block was blown in 1970 and replaced with a correct 1969 dated 396 cubic inch 350 horse power engine. Upon restoration that motor was completely torn down and rebuilt, arebuilt M21 4 speed trans was installed, the vinyl top wasdeleted, and the interior was all replaced with the deluxe black interior. This was a complete body off build and nothing was overlooked. The metal is laser straight, the paint is beautiful, the body lines and gaps are better than when new, the frame and underbody was completely blasted and painted black, the chrome and bright work was all polished out nicely, all new interior installed from seats and covers to headliner, door panels, kick panels, carpet, and dash pad. The car has ZERO rust and shows amazingly well. With power steering, power brakes, and a 331 posi rear end(10 bolt), she is a pleasure tocruise locally or on the highway. This is a needs nothing investment grade American muscle car that will do nothingbut appreciate in value over time. All electrical and mechanicals work as they should, right down to the horn, wiper sprayers, and even the door buzzer! Cragar wheels and the rubber are basically brand new and wont need replacing anytime soon so long as you can keep you foot out of the pedal. The motor fires up right away, even in this cold Michigan weather, doesn't smoke, knock, tick, burn oil, or leak. If your searchingfor that piece of American history that you can just jump in and enjoy, this is definitely it. It will not break down, leave you stranded, or have you feeling embarrassed no matter where or to what car show you may take it. Certainly a head turner and crowd pleaser. If you don't like lots of attention, photos being taken, orgetting a thumbs up every time your out....then go buy a pinto. You will be hard pressed to find another Camaro like this, in the condition this one is in, here on ebay or anywhere else for anything under 45-50K and you surely wont find them being offered at a true no reserve auction. I however feel that my 120+ unedited photos and the desirability of a real ss big block car will ensure thatthis car will bring a fair price. Don't wait til last minute to get your bid in only to be outbid by someone else's pre entered proxy bid. This vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder at the end of the auction given it doesn't sell before then.
