1972 Chevrolet El Camino Base Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door Description

Thanks for lookingUp for auction 1972 Chevrolet El Camino projectThe car is originally from TX and when it came up to NJ got put in storage for the next 23 years. So now north east road saltThis car is apart, the low price reflects that. The car does not have an engine, it was a 350 car. The radiator is also not available. But you get EVERYTHING else. The car still has it's original paint on the rear quarters roof and bed. So no hidden surprises. It is a VERY solid car. The bed does not have any giant dents or gouges. The car comes with 2 pairs of doors, the pair not on the car are straight and from CA so very clean, NOT perfect, but very good. The car is a column shift automatic car, turbo 350 trans. The rear is a 12 bolt rear. The frame is straight and clean. The car has ac, and disc brakes. The car has a set of rollers on it, but comes with a set of 4 72 SS style 5 spoke Chevy wheels. The wheels are all straight but need to be stripped and painted. The interior comes with repo door panels, bucket seats, that actually are in VERY nice shape, can use as is. The seats also have the pockets for the seat belt for a non consol car. The kick panels are good, as are the panels behind the seat. The entire dash is out of the car, as is the ac unit. The fenders and hood and grill are basically attached for transport only. The bumpers are straight but the chrome is peeling. I have all the front and rear glass trim and the bed trim, all original GM not repo. Ithe trim is in good condition, not great, but good and all there.
This is a very clean project, very solid overall. The windshield does have a crack. The is a rust hole on passenger side floor, about the size of a quarter, and the back window on drivers side has a rust spot that needs repair about 2 inches long.
I am available Saturday am if you would like to inspect. My cell number is 609-206-5360 6-9 pm est. Car does roll, but brakes are not hooked up. I have clear NJ title in my name. If any questions please call.
