1956 Chevrolet Nomad -- Description

Beautifully executed professionally restored 1956 Nomad wagon. Less than 4500 miles since a complete body off custom build. All of the best components were used starting with a fully boxed and powdercoated frame and suspension. Rear end is a Ford 9" with Cal trac bars. Front end has a heavy duty sway bar and C4 Corvette disc brakes. Brake power is supplied by a powerful "hydroboost" power braking system. Power comes from a Chevrolet ZZ4 350 cubic inch crate engine boasting 400hp with electronic fuel injection, aluminum heads, custom accessory belt system, and custom 2-1/2 inch dual exhaust. 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission allows for comfortable highway cruising speeds. Custom paint and body in a gorgeous Ferrari Deep Blue with Silver Quarters. All chrome and stainless was refiniahed to show quality. All glass and weatherstripping was replaced and is excellent. Custom interior with 6 way power bucket seats and console. Classic Instruments gauge cluster, tilt column, smaller diameter steering wheel,power windows, and custom autosound stereo with CD changer. This car is equipped with Vintage Air AC and heat. Extra sound deadening and insulation was used to create a very comfortable and quiet cabin. Currently wipers do not work, motor turns on but arms do not move. It was not fixed because quite frankly, this car isnt driven in bad weather.
