1978 Chevrolet C-10 Camper Special Description

This fine specimen of automotive engineering is a 1978 Chevy C-30 Camper Special, as you see in the pics it is a single cab and cosmetically in need of some TLC but don't let the Patina fool ya! Under the hood is a 454 hooked to a Turbo 400 tranny, this truck is rated for a GVW of 10,000 lbs!! and believe me it WILL pull!! I've rebuilt the entire top end and had all top end parts checked by a machine shop, I can tell you even with the quadrabog carb on top this truck has NO lack of power! It has the Dual fuel tank setup on it as well and all parts for the Factory ACsystem are included (Not installed) Heres the list of ALL the new stuff on it.......also this truck has completely hydraulic brakes and power steering, no vacuum booster in the system.
-all top end gaskets and seals-Alternator-water pump-radiator-radiator hoses-belts-Carb rebuilt-new Flowtech Exhaust Headers-Mr. Gasket Glasspack mufflers (Loud and proud, these sound SWEET!! lol)-Mr. Gasket Electric fuel pump-ALL fuel hoses-REAR TIRES HAVE LESS THAN 20 MILES ON THEM ($650 for the set when purchased)-Spark Plugs-Plug Wires-Cap and Rotor-Starter is Proform Hi Torque Starter-New Battery and Ground cables-Holley Fuel pressure regulator-vacuum shift solonoid on transmission is newComp cams Triple roller timing set advanced 4 degrees
What it needs to my knowledge......fusable link for ignition (its wired up without one so can start up and let you hear it purr if your in the area ;)-also the torque converter seal leaks, i have a new seal for you-i have a transmission filter and pan gasket to put in (not needed but probably due)
History....I bought the truck about a year and a half ago as a hotrod project for $2800 and added $650 worth of tires and about $1400 worth of parts under the hood, I am ONLY selling it bc i need the money more than the truck, i love and wish i could keep it, but i am getting out of the military in about a year and want some money set aside for a house. Starting bid will be set at $2500 Buy it now is set at $3250 and believe me it's well worth it, theres not many of these left still in one piece and even fewer of these camper specials.
If you have any questions or would like to see it in person please don't hesitate to contact me via PM :)
Happy Bidding!!
