What it may need-
This was going to be a complete restore but another project came up that I couldn't pass on and now I need the room. The wheels/tires, body/paint and a few odds and ends are the only things left to finish this vehicle. The wheels are Cragar S/S (7 inch in front 8 inch in back) they are in perfect shape but are only 15 inch, tires are worn and old and need to be replaced. This is an Arizona car so no extensive/heavy rust. However, when I purchased the vehicle it did and does have some light visible rust at the right rear fender coming through the paint (see photo) and it looks like they cut both the rear fenders to fit larger tires but there is no extensive rust at that spot as there is on a lot of Chevelles. The front bumper needs to be re chromed, the side emblems say 307 as this was originally a Malibu, depending on what you're trying to do most chrome is faded and needs to be polished/re-chromed or replaced but it is all present, horns are wired and ready/work but the steering wheel just needs to be completed (I have the kit) needs interior rear window door cranks, has lap seat belts for the front, I have a CD player and speakers that come with it but I did not install in case you wanted to go back to the original stereo set up, floor parking brake is there but the cables need to be hooked up, wipers and switch are there but the motor is inop.
LASTLY-
I have tried to outline and be completely up front here with everything that I know about the vehicle but as stated you are buying this as is, while it has been ‘restored’ you are still buying a 49 year old vehicle so please enjoy the pictures and email me with any questions or email me requesting my number and we can chat on the phone as well if you require more details as I want to provide you with all the information I can so you know exactly what you are purchasing! Serious buyers only, not entertaining low ball offers or ridiculous trades or requests. This is a 75% completed vehicle with an extremely solid drive-line assembly and interior but needs body and paint work. Thank you!
