1957 Chevy Bel Air Model 210 Custom
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air Description
1957 Chevrolet 210 with Bel Air trim
One of A Kind
When purchased new in Tampa, Florida, in June 1957, this was a heater, radio and clock delete vehicle, which is extremely rare. A radio has since been added but could be easily removed. This car comes with all original paperwork including the invoice, insurance information, coupons and owners manual.
Corvette Brilliant Red with Custom Gray two-tone interior.
This Chevy had a complete frame off restoration in 1992. It has been driven 2900 miles since. I personally have owned the car 11 years and have driven it 160 miles. It has been featured in magazines and is a high scoring nationally judged car.
Body, engine, transmission, driveshaft, rear pumpkin, gas tank, traction bars and shocks are all painted Corvette brilliant red. Highly detailed frame and underbody is painted high gloss black. There are chrome and polished accessories and fittings throughout the car.
The 283 engine is a 3731548 block with front suffix stamp of FI025C. The 539 heads have the proper date codes and have been fitted with hardened seats. The carburetors are WCFB and are passenger car correct and have recently been rebuilt, refinished and flow tested. Cam is solid lifter with 270 hp duntov specs. Double roller timing chain and I have the correct dual point distributor, however, I'm at the present time using an MSD ignition system. This engine is brand new. It has been run for break in period of 20 min at half throttle, however, has not been driven.
Transmission is a Muncie Close Ratio 4-speed and 4.11 positraction rear. Brake and fuel lines are polished stainless steel. Brakes are a dual master cylinder disc/drum combo and steering is through a 605 box with a GM tilt column.
I have videos of the car running available upon request. Please call 845-313-2155 or email me with any questions prior to bidding. Thanks and good luck.
