1989 Chevrolet Silverado R1500 2WD Suburban, 138,895 original miles. ALL ORIGINAL AS NEAR AS I CAN TELL!! Great (nearly excellent) condition in and out for it's age. I don't NEED to sell it, I just got a new vehicle. Lots of new parts including (mostly preventative maintenance items): EGR valve, EGR sensor, battery, spark plugs and wires, distributor cab and rotor, air filter, thermostat and gasket, transmission pan gasket and filter, windshield, windshield wipers, rear speakers, tires, shocks, headliner, pcv valve, exhaust from the Cat back (looks stock but is much louder with Paradox muffler),and rear tailgate weatherstripping. Basically $1,500 in new parts. Goods: fresh oil change and filter, flushed radiator, flushed rear differential, fresh fluid and filter in transmission. FACTORY Air conditioner that WORKS, heater works and heater core does not leak, rear power window works and tailgate lowers, cruise control works, radio works. Bads: one lone crack in dash by drivers front speaker, crack in drivers door padded arm rest, piece of chrome interior trim came off (I still have it), and there are 2 spots on the exterior where rust has just or is just about to bubble through the paint (minor spots that can be touched up easily). Also, the truck was parked in a carport for 15 years. The majority of the truck was in the shade except for the the rear passenger corner by the back window. The paint here is faded and cracking (see pictures). I got a quote from Maaco to address the 3 spots and they told me around $500. Interior is grayish blue clothe with a bench front seat and rear seat (no third row). The seats are in perfect condition. The wood grain on the dash isn't chipped or fading. The paint on the dash is still shiny! All around EXCELLENT square body truck. Would easily make a great show truck or daily driver, I get around 14 miles to the gallon. |
