1988 Chevrolet Corvette Description

I have a Great looking and running bright red 1988 Vette Convertible with 84,200 original miles. Paint is very nice,350 V8 automatic. Radio has been upgraded to a AM/FM cd player with Bluetooth. Everything works including the AC which has been converted to 134a. New tires with not more than a thousand miles on them mounted on 2004 C5 polished spoke wheels, 17" front and 18" rear. All new Shocks,Alternator and emissions Air pump.Top has been replaced at some point.Had the car checked out top to bottom last spring at a shop in Kansas City that has specialized in Corvettes for almost 50 years. Car runs and drives great. Only issue is thatAfter driving for a while, 10-12 milesthe service engine light comes on. It has done this since I got it, It does not change anything about the way the car runsI can attest to that. When it was at the Corvette shop last spring I had them check it and they told me upfront they may not be able to find the cause as they have run into it before, Look on line and you will see its a common problem. Well they changed a couple of sensors and it made no difference except in my pocket. They said some people just unhook the light or cover it. I did not want to unhook it. If you shut the car off for a minute and restartit doesn't come on until a few miles later.Normal check engine lights don't behave that way, they stay on all the time. I just want to be upfront.Thank you. Please email with questions. Clear MO title.
