1987 Chevrolet Corvette Description

If you are looking at this then you have probably seen the Roadkill episode where the guys remove all the body work and end up with a vette kart. They said it is the scariest vehicle they have ever made because of how fast it is. Let me tell you, they are right. Every time I have driven this thing it has tried to put me six feet under. If you have not seen what I am talking about, go to youtube and search for roadkill vette kart. They have a few episodes dedicated to it.
When they did it, they removed all of the computers and wiring and went with carburetion. I have left the engine computers in place with the thought process that adding turbos to these old vets is easy, cheap and would give this thing a power to weight rivaling that of an Atlas V rocket.
Because I am not a complete nutjob, I have added an NHRA certified cage, race seats, and five point harnesses. The box on the back houses the fuel tank, battery and tail lights.
The car has functional brake lights, head lights, tail lights, and emergency brake. I added a mirror so that it meets the minimum requirements to be a street legal car. If your state requires something extra, get in touch and I will give you a quote on installing that item.
I kept the digital gauges and a few of the switches from the vette interior because I liked having the option of switching the displays. The display is bright and works great with no dead pixels.
The wheels are chrome units from a C5.
I added a VATS bypass chip and a custom fuse box to make sure that this beast runs consistently and safely.
The transmission is automatic which is my preference for autocross cars.
I do not have the title but I will provide paperwork that will enable you to get a title in your name.

The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
