Selling my 1986 K10 SWB. Everything is new, updated, or serviced inside and out. Maybe 500 miles on the completed build. I'm 36, and bought the truck to build and keep for my kids, but we're buying a house and it's got to go. I've spared no expense and finished the truck with attention to detail. Everything works as it should. The truck has never seen mud or been off-road since I've owned it, just sits in my garage and gets driven around town every couple of weeks. Owned most of its life by an older man in GA, then sat for a few years before I bought it to restore. I searched for months to find a good truck to restore and this was it. Carfax records indicate no accidents and ~130k or so miles.
All of the major work was professionally done and I have most receipts. Over $22k invested, and my loss is your gain. I have 'before' pictures to document the lack of rust and general condition before restoration. A more complete list is below, but the highlights include:
- 350HP 350 CID V8 with aluminum heads, headers, and ZZ4 block - approx. 30k miles. New carb, water pump, radiator, and plugs. Flowmaster exhaust w/new chrome tips.
- All new suspension - steering box, tie rod ends, stabilizer, shocks, 2" spring lift
- New 33" BFG All Terrain KO2's, and bullet hole wheels.
- New paint with all new trim, glass, vent windows, chrome, rubber, and exterior pieces.
- Completely new AC system - blows cold with no leaks. Vent vacuum system works correctly.
- LED headlights and interior lighting. Nothing tacky and no weird colors, just a more modern look.
- All new interior w/sound deadening material. New dash, seat, vents, locks, handles, seat belts, etc. Truck is almost as quiet as my Honda civic on the highway.
- New sound sytem - Retro sound radio w/hidden USB port (original radio opening intact) and new speakers.
- Spray in bedliner
If I were keeping the truck, I'd fix: minor transfer case leak at shifter. The leak is very minor and I don't have the space, time, or tools to drop the t-case in my garage. I've done my best to accurately represent the truck, but buyer is responsible for inspection and due diligence before the winning bid is accepted.
