1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel/Air Description

For sale is a 1957 Chevrolet BEL/AIR 2DR. HT. This car shows 85K on the odometer and was said to be accurate by the previous owner, ut I have no way to document that. The 57 is a very solid car with little to no rust. This was a California car which explains that solid condition of the sheet metal. I've included a picture of the trunk area to give you an idea how little rust this car has. All of the glass is in great condition and rolls up and down as it should. The chrome and stainless is in exceptional condition for a 59 year old car, gain I feel this is because it spent most of it's life in a dry climate. The car is mostly original except the running gear has been upgraded to a 350ci engine and a TH350 automatic transmission with a very positive shift kit. A sway bar has also been added to the rear axle which gives the 57 a good solid feel on the road. The paint shows better in the pictures than it really is. It is a good 50 footer. The interior is very original material, t shows wear on the drivers bottom cushion and dry rotted on the top of the back seat, hich could be corrected by just replacing the top vinyl portion. The car has complete new brakes from drums to hoses with less than 20 miles on them. The battery is also less than a month old. The car starts and runs good and the dual exhaust system sounds good as well. This car is equipped with factory P/S and it works well. The dash as well as the rest of the interior has not been molested in any way. All the lights work including the turn signals, he wipers work, ven the original radio works. Sorry the clock doesn't work, ut I've never seen one that does. The body is very straight ans appears to have little to no bondo areas. This 57 is an excellent candidate for restoration because it is so solid and original. Because of it's age this vehicle is sold AS/IS, HERE/IS. The buyer is responsible for transportation or shipping of the vehicle however I will help coordinate with your shipper.
