1967 Chevrolet C10 shortbed stepside
1967 Chevrolet C-10 Description
I purchased this truck from the third owner in Columbus, A a year ago. Built in Atlanta, ad spent the whole time in Georgia. I've used the truck as a daily driver last summer. Runs and drives really well really and a lot of fun to drive. Selling to pay bills and support my son in college. So as a result, m not anxious to sell. It is a base truck with no power steering,no power brakes, o interior door arm rests, ne sun visor and pretty sure no original radio of cigarette lighter. Other than an amateur paint job fifteen years ag, nd cutting out for a radio (which in my opinion justifies jail time) no major alterations. So.....leaves us to.....THE GOODNewer items include but are not limited to: alternator, oltage regulator, tarter, ater pump, nbsp;spark plugs and wires, ist. cap, oil, oints, arburetor, uel tank cleaned w/ new sending unit, dd on engine temp. and oil pressure gauges. New stainless outside door mirrors. New 15 x 9 rims with stainless caps and beauty rings. The original steel rims will be provided. New chrome rear bumper and brackets. Engine sounds good and runs strong with very minimal oil consumption. Probably a quart in between changes. Does leak a little from the main seal. Body panels all seem to be very solid including cab mounts and corners. the absence of typical rust problem places on the front fenders. Bed fenders and steps are solid with no major dents. Doors are rust free though the passenger side has been replaced at one time. Frame is nice and solid having the coil springs replaced.THE BADThe transmission has some bearing noise in first and reverse. The synchronize rings need replaced for second gear. seals leak a little as well. The truck is very drive-able provided that you "double clutch". The endless attention by driving this truck. Can't get by with anything.THE UGLYA few dings here and there, rease on the passenger door which had been replaced at one time. An older paint job where the enamel is cracking and flaking. Some light damage to the passenger side of cab that was painted over . The rocker panes have been messed with but are solid underneath and along the floor boards. The bed floor had been replaced with new strips and treated lumber so the supports underneath need replaced. the tailgate and front panel are a little rough but at a distance have a pleasing appearance. The wing glass in the drivers door needs replaced.
The truck is an ideal candidate for restoration being that it's still mostly original. I will be happy to entertain question or furnish detailed photos of questionable areas. The truck is to be sold where as as is with no warrant expressed or implied. I do have the title in hand which will be surrendered after payment confirmation along with a letter from the previous owner in regards of it's history. I prefer cash, lectronic transfer or cashiers check money order. I do reserve the right to end the sale and remove from ebay due to local sale or in the event that I "chicken out".Thank You for your time and interest.
