1969 Chevrolet Camaro X44 Description

1969 Camaro. Garnet Red - Posi Traction Rear End. Build Sheet. 350 - 4 Bolt Main. This car is from Canada and is very solid. It has been completely media blasted. There is no original paint left on it. Completely primed and ready for you to finish. Please look closely at the pics of the under side. It has been detailed and finish painted black. It shows very nicely.
It does have dents on almost all body panels. The driver door is fixable but has several spots that have damage. It has had a quarter panel replaced. You may want to rip it off and put a new one on. Not the best job I've seen. (See pics). It also has very light rust through in the drivers front floor. The front right inner wheel well also has a small rust area from the battery. (Please see the last pics). The lower left fender has a patch that is in tact and simply needs body filler. . The balance of this project is amazingly solid. As you can imagine, in the 48 years this car was on the road it had some ding and dents. Now that it has been media blasted they all show. The nice thing is you know what you are getting in to.
Remember It does have dents and wrinkles and some 1/8" holes drilled to pull the panels. 2 areas with rust and 1 small repair spot that you will need to body fill. The roof does look near perfect but almost every other panel has at least one spot and sometimes more than one spot that will need straightened. Don't buy this thinking it is ready for paint. The Cowl Induction Hood is an original GM hood. Not sure that it came with the car though. They drilled the holes in the hood for the "Cowl Induction" emblem.
Here is how the build sheet from Canada reads:Garnet RedWhite Vinyl TopWhite InteriorPosi rear end (Still in car)D80 SpoilerPower Brakes327 2bbl ( Now it has a 350=4bbl with 4 bolt main).Special front bumper. (I am told this is the Enduro Bumper)
350 - 4 blt motor with Headers installed in the car as well as the posi rear end. I was told the motor is a strong runner. The sub-frame is all cleaned and painted as well as the engine compartment. This car really is ready for you to finish. There is no tearing apart or cleaning and scraping to do before you start to restore it. It also has SS wheels on it. The tires are not the best.
There are 2 front seats that go with the sale as well as the lower back seat section.
