This is a running driving project car. To my knowledge its correct original mileage at 57,732. I checked the numbers, orrect original 283 engine date coded FEB 15, 963 and original powerglide 2 speed trans. Car has a reserve gas can, t does start right up and also has a brake.
Car has well over $3000 alone of new sheet metal. Doors are brand new as well as fenders and hood. The lower quarters need to be welded and body work performed. They are held on with rivits only. The trunk floor like most Impalas of this vintage was rotted to death. I have all floor sections included in the sale.It is impossible to tell all details of a 50+ year old car. What you see is what it is. The car needs a good amount of body work. The price I'm giving it away for is a joke. I'm just bailing out and taking a loss. This car finished is worth 20k+ easy. There also is NO PAPERWORK with car. It's bill of sale only. If that is an issue it isn't for you. I will for $500 get paperwork for the car, gain.... not looking for a song and dance. The car is being sold AS IS, here is and very cheap for what it is!
This is not a basket case, he only item I see missing is the hood molding that you can buy new or used. You get all parts with car, verything is correct including original seats (not some monkey job with wrong seats). It's worth more in parts than what I am selling it for. Car must be paid in full prior to pick up. If going out of local area buyer responsible for all fees to transport. I will hold it for no longer than 30 days. All money lost if not claimed after 30 days and car gets resold. I'm looking for quick clean sale, don't want inspectors, want a buyer.
