UPDATED 3/20/16 1600: AT THE REQUEST OF A CUSTOMER I TOOK ADDITIONAL PIX OF THE FRAME, NDERSIDE, NGINE BAY, RANSMISSION, EAR. I AM AT MY EBAY LIMIT TO ADD PIX. LOOK AT THE LAST PHOTO FOR CONTACT INFO ON HOW TO REQUEST THESE 21 PIX. THEY HAVE BEEN SIZED TO 640X480, ND ALL ARE UNDER 4MB. WHAT I LEARNED: THERE IS SOME RUST-THROUGH UNDER THE DRIVERS SIDE FLOOR, ND A TINY SPOT UNDER THE PAX FLOOR. PIX SHOW IT. NOT COMPLICATED REPAIR SPOT.

SELLING MY 1966 C10. I BOUGHT IT IN 2010 TO TEACH MY DAUGHTERS HOW TO DRIVE A STICK. I BOUGHT THIS ONEBECAUSE IT WAS COMPLETE, ND A TURN-KEY; NOTHING HAD TO BE DONE TO DRIVE IT HOME, ND ENJOY IT FOR THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE.

THE ODOMETER SHOWS <71000, UT IT DOESN'T WORK. I'VE PROBABLY DRIVEN IT LESS THAN 3K SINCE BUYING IT-TO HARDWARE STORE, ORK ONCE IN A WHILE, TC... THE SPEEDO DOES WORK. ACTUAL MILAGE IS UNABLE TO BE DETERMINED.

THE GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM IN 2010 (SAN CLEMENTE, A) HAD IT FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS AFTER APPARENTLY FINDING IT UP IN OREGON OR WASHINGTON. HE INTENDED TO RESTORE IT, UT CHANGED PLANS. HE SPENT A BOAT-LOAD ON PARTS. I HAVE A THICK FOLDER OF DOCUMENTATION, TEMIZED BELOW.

THIS HAS A 292 WITH A 4-SPEED THAT HAS A GRANNY FIRST. ORIGINALLY IT APPEARS TO HAVE HAD A 283 - I FOUND SHARDS OF PAPER (BUILD SHEET, OST LIKELY FROM UNDER SEAT). THE 292 DOESN'T USE OIL. DRIPS A BIT. IT WAS A RECENT PROFESSIONAL REBUILD IN 2007 (SEE DOCS).

MADE IN FREMONT CALIFORNIA IN 1965. FOUND THE REMNANTS OF THE BUILD TAG FROM UNDER SEAT... THEY WERE IN THE FILE OF DOCS.

I JUST HAD THE RIMS SANDBLASTED AND POWERCOATED ABOUT 45 DAYS AGO. TRUCK INCLUDES 4 CORRECT FOR 1966 HUBCAPS, UT THEY NEED CLEANING/STRAIGHTENING/PAINTING. SHOD WITH NEW HANKOOK OPTIMAS, ECEIPTS INCLUDED FROM AMERICAS TIRE. THERE ARE 5-TOTAL POWDERCOATED RIMS WITH TIRES (4 ON TRUCK, NE SPARE). ALSO INCLUDES A SPARE RIM THAT WASN'T POWDERCOATED. <100 MILES ON TIRES... DROVE HOME FROM MY CONTAINER TO HOUSE, ND ANOTHER ROUND TRIP TO CONTAINER TO BRING A COUPLE MORE BIKES.

IT HAS AN AM RADIO, UT IT'S JUST SITTING IN THE DASH NOW, OT CONNECTED. IT CAME WITH THE TRUCK, JUST NEVER DID ANYTHING WITH IT.

IT COMES WITH THREE KEYS. TWO OLD BUT NOT ORIGINAL,AND A COPY I HAD MADE FOR DAILY USE. THE KEYS OPERATE THE IGNITION CYLINDER. THE KEYS DO NOT OPERATE THE DOOR LOCK-DON'T HAVE A KEY FOR IT, EVER DID. GETTING ONE OF THE CYLINDERS KEYED ALIKE IS EASY TO DO YOURSELF, ND PRETTY REASONABLE IF YOU HAVE SOMEONE DO IT.

HORN WORKS, UT CENTER BUTTON NEEDS REINSTALLATION, ND MAY NEED MINOR PARTS. IT COMES WITHTHE STEERING WHEEL CENTER HORN BUTTON PIECE; SEE PIX. I THINK IT NEEDS THREE SCREWS AND SPRINGS TO COMPLETE.

HEAT WORKS. WIPERS WORK, UT RIGHT SIDE ARM HAS A WORN SPLINE (JUST ARM, OT DRIVER MECHANISM)AND IS LOOSE. UNKNOWN IF WASHERS WORK, UT ALL PARTS APPEAR THERE-PREVIOUS OWNER INSTALLED NEW (IN 2007) RESERVOIR, INES. REMIND ME, ND I'LL INSPECT PUMP AND CHECK OPERATION AS TIME PERMITS.

ALL GLASS APPEARS GOOD, EE PIX. WINDOWS ROLL UP/DOWN EASILY. RIGHT SIDE VENT WING WINDOW IS MISSING CATCH, UT PART IS INCLUDED AND MAY BE ABLE TO BE REATTACHED.

ALL LIGHTS WORK.

I SHOULD ADD THAT I DON'T THINK THAT THERE IS ANY ROT/RUST-THROUGH ON THIS. ALL THE RUST APPEARS TO BE SURFACE RUST. THIS WAS ONE OF THE REASONS I BOUGHT IT 6 YEARS AGO-A GREAT PLATFORM TO HOLD OR RESTORE. IF YOU NEED MORE DETAILED PIX, MK. I CAN SEND ADDITIONAL PIX DIRECTLY.

REVERSE SWITCH ON TRANS MAY NOT BE CONNECTED OR MISSING; TOGGLE SWITCH UNDER DASH ACTIVATED BACK-UP LIGHTS. YOU CANNOT SEE THE HOLE THAT THE SWITCH IS INSTALLED IN WHEN SITTING IN SEATS; I DON'T KNOW IF AN EXISTING HOLE WAS USED, R ONE DRILLED, UT IT IS OUT OF EYESIGHT REGARDLESS.

TRUCK GETS WARM WHEN SITTING IDLING. I THINK IT NEEDS A RADIATOR SHROUD OR CHANGE FROM 4 TO 6 OR 8 BLADE FAN. WHEN MOVING, O ISSUE... TEMP CENTER OF SCALE.

ALL GAUGES WORK, OWEVER GAS GAUGE STAYS HIGH A LONG TIME, HEN DROPS FAST. COULD BE BECAUSE OF THE NEW SENDING UNIT PREVIOUS OWNER INSTALLED. DASH LIGHTS WORK. TURN SIGNALS, TC. I RAN OUT ONCE WHEN I FIRST GOT IT (PLANNED AHEAD WITH A CAN IN BED), UT NOW KNOW THAT WHEN NEEDLE IS ONE FULL WIDTH BELOW FULL, T'S TIME.

PREVIOUS OWNER INSTALLED A MALLORY UNILITE ELECTRONIC DISTRIBUTOR ($350), ND OLD ONE IS INCLUDED, S A SPARE. NICE RELIABLE FIRE.

HOOD HINGES IN GOOD SHAPE; JUST LUBED THEM WITH A COUPLE SQUIRTS OF WHITE LITHIUM GREASE, ND IT MOVES UP/DOWN WITH ONE FINGER.

APPARENTLY THIS MAY HAVE HAD A CAMPER SHELL ON IT; THERE IS RESIDUE OF CAULK AT THE FRONT OF THE BED, ND AN ACCESS PANEL WAS ADDED INTO THE CAB-THERE IS A PLATE ON THE FRONT WALL OF THE BED, ND ANOTHER INSIDE THE CAB, DJACENT THE TANK.

IT NEEDS A NEW GAS PEDAL; THE OLD ONE RUSTED AND BROKE AT THE HINGE. I BOUGHT A NEW ONE AT THE OLD CHEVY TRUCK SHOP IN ORANGE, A, UT THEY SOLD ME THE WRONG ONE (NEED SLIDER-PAD TYPE, OT BALL & SOCKET TYPE)... HAVEN'T ORDERED A NEW ONE YET.

APPARENTLY IN THE PAST, OME GENIUS THOUGHT IT WOULD BE NECESSARY TO ADD A BOLT TO THE ROOF. THERE IS A RUSTY PAN HEAD OR HEXSCREW IN THE ROOF, BOUT 10" BACK FROM THE FRONT EDGE, ND A MATCHING NUT INSIDE THE CAB. YOU CAN SEE THE NUT IN THE PIX WELL, HE SCREW HEAD IS LOST IN THE 'PATINA'. IT'S NEVER LEAKED FOR ME, UT THEN AGAIN, T DOESN'T RAIN HERE MUCH.

I WOULD DRIVE THIS TRUCK ANYWHERE TODAY, UST NOT MUCH FASTER THAN 65 (DON'T WANT TO OVER-REV). SINCE BUYING IT IN 2009, CHANGED FLUIDS (OIL 3X, EAR OIL 1X), EPLACED A BAD BRAKE SHOE, FUEL PUMP AND FILTER. THAT'S IT. IT'S BEEN GREAT FOR ME, UTI'M RUNNING OUT OF ROOM.

IT WAS IN STORAGE FOR THE LAST YEAR AND A HALF (I'VE GOT A 40' CONTAINER FOR TOYS). IT IS NOW HOME AND INSURED. CLEAR TITLE IN MY POSESSION. REGISTRATION IS CURRENTLY 'NON-OPPED' IN CALIFORNIA; THIS MEANS IT IS CURRENT AND 'IN SYSTEM' BUT NOT ABLE TO BE DRIVEN ON ROAD UNTIL IT IS REGISTERED (IT'S A CALIF THING).

-new battery, ox/tray/tie-downs 2007 - battery is currently OK, ut will probably need replacement soon. JUST LOAD TESTED IT WITH MY HANDY SCHUMACHER TESTER; OVER 600CCA, UT IT COULD PROBABLY BE REFRESHED... SLOWER TO START WHEN WARM.
