1990 Chevrolet K-5 Blazer Silverado Sport Utility 2-Door 5.7L
1990 Chevrolet Blazer Description
THE GOOD:
The engine runs very well and does not burn or leak oil, oolant, r other fluids from engine.
It has 5 matching aggressive tires(see picture for depth)
I was told the the motor and transmission were both replaced before I bought it. It runs like a r**ed ape.
transfer case and 4wd work awesome. The transmission shifts great.
currently PA inspected, egistered, nsured and drive-able.(next Pa inspection>other than the front marker light and windshield it should pass)
The frame and body mounts are solid, nly surface rusty.
has a heavy duty tow package not pictured as I was trying to hide the plate.
The rear floor pan and rear inner wheel wells and body cross members are solid .(shown/see the pictures)
In the last five years I have replaced the following;upper and lower ball joints, eft and right tie rods, eft and right universals, ll six shocks, quad front shocks), uel pump and sending unit, ront and rear driveshaft universals, teering gear box, an belt, ront rotors and pads, oil, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, tainless muffler and tailpipe, here is more but I cant remember.
THE BAD:
There is some minor damage to the grille, eft front lower fender, ent front bumper, ented rear bumper, ented rear quarter panel, s well as many small dings, cratches etc. There are some slight rust issues such as, ocker panels, and the rear exterior wheels wells, eed work. The right front inner fender well needs replaced, eft side could be repaired at this point. The rust holes pictured on left/right rear tail area could be patched but do not affect anything structural as the tail gate does not hinge there. Some areas of the front floor under seats were repaired with super heavy panels bolted in. The rear of the front floor pan in left and right corners was repaired with same heavy duty bolt ins and adhesive. there are small rust bubbles on a few small spots of the floor. The interior floor pans were painted when the floor was repaired. the exterior paint is original and displays typical degradation and weathering. the doors are solid with the exception of the passenger door having some minor rust bubbling. Driver side power window needs fixed (no idea whats wrong/ just quit working). rear tailgate is solid with no rust, nd the guts have been rebuilt very well. (new motor, ear box, e lined tracks, nd custom turned bronze bushings on the scissor. it needs only some attention to the wiring in the rear end underneath as a connector got corroded and quit working) Rear pumpkin weeps. transfer case weeps at rear seal. Overall this blazer would be a prime candidate for a restoration or a 4wd build. I have maintained this vehicle very well mechanically but have let it go cosmetically. The odometer has been broken at 287000 miles since I have owned it
