1967 Chevrolet C-10 Description

Up for sale is one sweet little pickup that will get you great MPGs and will look cool doing it. I needed an efficient truck to drive to work (30 miles each way) so we built this Frankenstein's Monster. Here's the rundown:
Cab is a 67 Chevy. New floors, rockers, and cab corners. New dash pad, insulated rubber flooring, and reupholstered seat. Gauges were just installed in the fall and show 2500 miles (all put on this spring)
Front end is 72 Chev. Original sheet metal; not repops
Box and Chassis is 1998 c1500. Modern frame drives like a modern truck. 4/7 Static drop, lowering springs and drop spindles in the front. Axle flip and C-notch in the back. Air shocks in the back help smooth everything out.
Engine is a 2009 4 cylinder Cummins Turbo Diesel. It is intercooled. The 4bt came out of an aluminum box truck that only had 50,000 miles on it before it was smashed up. Motor is stock, but still has plenty of power to scoot this half ton around town. I've put almost 5,000 miles on it myself
Transmission is a NV4500 from a 94 GMC C2500. The previous owner said it has rebuilt but we have no paperwork to prove it. It looks clean and it shifts great!
The truck is not a show vehicle. It was meant to be driver quality and has some flaws yet. Paint is not perfect, especially inside the cab. The radio is not hooked up. The windshield is clouded in the corners and the door windows need some weather stripping yet. I'm sure I am forgetting a few things. Check the pictures for details.
I was driving this every day until two weeks ago and was averaging over 30 miles per gallon. Easily capable of more if you drive slow ;)
Normally this wouldn't be for sale but sadly, life has gotten in the way and has forced me to sell my toys.
Reserve is set low. We will require a $500 deposit through PayPal within 48 hours of the auction's end. Local pick-up only. If you want to ship it, you set up shipping. Thanks for looking!
