1988 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Silverado Description

Automatic Transmission, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Tilt Steering,A/C, Cruise Control, Bluetooth AM/FM CD

Keyless Entry, Auto Day/Night Rearview Mirror with Temp/Compass,Homelink Garage Door Opener, LED Interior Lighting

I started working on this truck as a project in 2012.I had 4 new tires installed on 7/6/2012 at 192,000 miles so I have only driven this truck roughly 2300 miles in 5 years. The truck starts right up and idles smoothly with no missing or smoke. There are no leaks. Transmission shifts through all gears and into overdrive with no issues.

The interior has been redone in black and dark burgundy. A overhead console with Homelink has been added as well as a auto adjusting day/night mirror with the temp/compass display. The interior has been redone with a new parts from LMC Truck.Headliner, visors, carpeting, seat upholstery, and weatherstripping. The instrument cluster has been changed out to a Dakota Digital Cluster VHX88CPUCB, purchased directly for Dakota Digital. The mileage on the instrument cluster reflects the true mileage of the truck as I matched the mileage of the old cluster to the new one when I installed it.

The a/c is all new and blows cold, but it has a vibration noise that can be heard in the cab when being run. The dealer gave me a diagram of the brackets and the truck is missing one. The dealer thinks this missing bracket is causing the vibration noise, but it is no longer made. Thisbracket will have to be found at a wrecking yard or pick-a-part and I have not had the time to go and see if I can find one.

The paint is in terrible shape as the clear coating is mostly gone and needs to be repainted.

If your state requires a smog inspection, this truckWILL NOT PASSas it does not have any smog equipment installed.

I will include all of the shop manuals and wire diagram booklet with the truck along with all of the receipts for the work done as a lot of these parts have a lifetime warranty. I willget the trim around the window switches installed on the drivers door and pull handles on both of the doors before auction end.I drove the truck to Tulsa, Ok a couple of weeks ago which is about 170 miles each way from where I live and the truck did excellent, but this is the longest trip I have ever driven with the truck since getting it. If I can get some time I will try getting a video driving it and get it posted. I just have not had the time to work on this project.

Truck is being sold as is with no warranty. If you live in the area and would like to come by and look at, you will be more than welcome too. The truck is located in Weatherford, OK with a clear title. Tag will expire in May of 2018.
