1986 Chevrolet Suburban C20 HD Custom Deluxe Description

A totally unmolested 1986 Chevy Suburban C20 Custom Deluxe with only 78,000 original miles that could be a star on "SUV Survivor " TV show (if there was such a reality show). This Suburban was apparently custom ordered by the original owner with front Captains Chairs with a matching cloth rear bench (some wear on seats/bench). It does NOT have a 3rd row seat but appears to have had a platform in the back, possibly for a stow-away bed (no mattress is included). The top of the dash panel is cracked and could be replaced or covered.
*It features the 'Big Block' 454ci engine coupled to a TH 400 automatic transmission. Engine runs/feels/sounds exactly as it should (no significant leaks, smoke, check engine lights, etc.). Transmission shifts fine. and it has a new alternator!
*C20 Heavy-Duty platform "Custom Deluxe" Frame looks to be solid (I am not a mechanic, but I don't see any bad areas)
*Working Cruise control, wipers, all lights, 4 working power windows (front two have NEW motors), power door locks, power steering & brakes.
*Tow Package (Hitch, 7-way Harness, Trailer Brake) - I have not tested the wiring, but the trailer brake light comes on with pedal push.
Minimal rust for the age. I tried to get pictures that showed the problem areas. Mostly the driver's rear quarter. Other than that, and perhaps the rocker panels, it appears to be mostly surface and cosmetic issues; I haven't noticed any moisture inside the truck. The glass has no breaks/cracks and the side and vent windows operate as intended.
It is my understanding that 1986 represents the final 454ci Suburban which came equipped with a carburetor instead of the early, and shaky, throttle body fuel injection. Suburban aficionados covet this particular vintage for that reason.
This truck is not perfect, but it is EXTREMELY nice and deserves to either be an easy restoration or used by an owner who appreciates and has a need for such an iconic SUV.
