1966 cheverolet nova. Was built back in the late 70’s and raced up and down the east coast till 85’. From 1985 to a few years ago the car sat in a heated storage. I bought the car, had motor built and went thru the car to make it race ready but keeping its vintage integrity.
The engine is a 327 block. Been destroked to a 316. Vintage nascar heads worked by high velocity heads. New miller aluminum rods. je pistons. Jesel timing assembly. Titanium valves. Every internal piece is new. Dynoed 626 hp @8300 and still building power
Tranny is a powerglide w/brake, shield. 9” converter. Mark Williams 9” rearend, 35 spline, aluminum center, aluminum rear drum brakes. Four link suspension on rolling leafs. Koni shocks. Kid Presto plastic valve covers. Holly carb. Cable driven tach/distributor. Vintage msd trigger and box. New yellow top optima batteries. New 14”x31” goodyear eagle slicks and fronts. Perry shifter. Fiberglass hood. Wildwood front disk brakes
The car has three different types of speed sensors they were experiencing with. One on drive shaft and one on each front wheel w/ all wires going to cab. The glass is custom made to be thinner than stock glass. Car has no rust. Was painted in 77’. Besides a few minor chips paint is mint for 40 years old. Took the car to the track at the end of last year. Went three passes. Don’t have time to enjoy
