1967 Chevy Caprice Classic-Impala
1967 Chevrolet Caprice Coupe Description
Here is Ruby, she is a California car. 1967 Chevy Caprice, much rarer than the Impala counterpart. Frame off restoration in the 90s and its still as clean underneath as the day it was done. She has had the one repaint you see here in all of her 50 years. Original numbers matching 327 motor and 400 turbo transmission, 4 speed. Shifts well and motor runs good and strong. Lots of upgrades were done to the car over the years, front disk brakes, upgraded steering box for smooth turning and control, 3 core radiator, LED lights to shine bright, small cam, Edlebrock carburetor and intake. She has power brakes and power steering, no A/C car. Roof has a couple of minor dings from a tree branch falling on it and there are some chips in the paint from the last 20 years since it was painted. Dings do not show in pictures as they are that small. Still shows well and has won a trophy as well as a plaque just back in March of this year. Runs down the road smoothy with a comfortable ride. Brakes and tires likely have only around 3000 miles on them since they were put on last year. Interior is original with the exception of the carpet and rear deck lid that were replaced. The car was sold to me as original mileage but I can not verify that.
She was used in the filming of Finding Steve McQueen just last Fall in Atlanta Georgia, documented. One time featured on the cover of Bobs Impala, PDF on my desktop to be given to buyer.
