Superior 454ci big block performance with 4-speed manual transmission and 4.11 Posi rear axle! Fitted with bucket seats, power steering, and power assisted brakes! Great color combination and fitted with Super Sport attributes! A truly great car for the money!
Basically redesigned as the entry-level Chevrolet in 1968, the Nova continued to sell very well considering the outstanding availability of options, both under the hood and inside the cabin for passengers. Even the Super Sport performance package was allowed for power hungry buyers looking for affordable horsepower! By 1970 though, the big block was eliminated from the options list, leaving the dependable 350ci as the SS-only engine. So, as with many muscle car enthusiasts, they were upgraded in garages to their former glory!
We are excited to offer this 1972 Chevrolet Nova SS clone finished in Flame Orange over black bucket seat interior! Under the hood lies a potent, rebuilt 454ci V8 fitted with an Edelbrock Performer 2.0 aluminum intake, Holley Performance Series 770 cfm double pumper carburetor, Summit Racing Multi-spark Capacitive Discharge Ignition System, Moroso HD plugs wires, Moroso 7-quart oil pan, long tube headers with 3" exhaust and Pypes Street Pro performance mufflers, upgraded Auto Gear 4-speed manual transmission, and 4.11 Posi-Traction 10-bolt rear axle with Mr. Gasket aluminum differential cover!
Options on this supreme power house include power steering, power brakes, bucket seats with headrests, 15" Rally wheels wrapped in 225/70R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A white letter tires, SS hood & exterior badgin, body colored sport mirrors, roof rail drip moldings, sport steering wheel, upgraded Alpine AM/FM/CD player, under dash oil psi & temp gauges, and more! This car began life from the Van Nuys, CA plant fitted with a 350ci V8-2bbl according the VIN. Today, with such special attention to the restoration, it will undoubtedly impress anyone behind the wheel! A true muscle car in every sense; power, sound, & performance!
